Michael Stone, President and CEO

Michael has owned, leased, managed and developed multiple commercial real estate projects since 1994. Starting in the Pacific Northwest as an asset and property manager for a national REIT, he moved quickly into a commercial real estate brokerage, investment and acquisitions role. Over the course of his career, Michael has personally invested and managed ground-up developments, site selection and sophisticated leasing transactions across North America. Through the related firm he co-founded, The Stone Group, Michael has a 15 year history of successfully completing over 1,450 commercial real estate transactions in every major and secondary market in the United States. Michael has engaged in the development and investment of several commercial real estate properties, including office condominiums, retail centers and industrial projects.

 

 

Patrick F. Stone, Chairman

Patrick has 32 years of experience in the real estate industry, ranging from residential development to serving as President and Director of a Fortune 500 Company. He began his career in the title insurance industry, working as a Title Examiner, Escrow Officer, County Manager, District Manager, and ending as President and Chief Operating Officer of Fidelity National Financial (FNF-nyse). Patrick currently serves on the board as a director for First American Financial (FAF –nyse). He also has been Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Microgeneral (MGEN-nasdaq), a software company developing production software for the real estate services industry and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity National Information Solutions (FNIS-nasdaq), a data and solutions provider of real estate services companies.  Patrick has also served as Vice Chairman of Metrocities Mortgage, a Residential Mortgage Banker originating in excess of $10 billion in real estate loans in 2006.

 

 

Alfonso Morcos, Project Manager, Mexico development operations

Alfonso has over 12 years of experience in both the private and public sectors in various parts of Mexico. He began his career developing high-tension substation and transmission projects at the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (Mexico's national electric utility). He subsequently served in project management roles in international companies including Enron and Tractebel, overseeing the development of large scale (200+ MW) combined cycle power plant facilities working with Sergeant and Lundy, Mitsui, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Prior to joining SVC, Alfonso worked with Hunt Consolidated’s Mexico subsidiary where he sourced and implemented strategic consulting projects within the State of Nuevo Leon on behalf of the Governor's office. Additionally, he reported to the Secretary of Urban Development and provided concept development and technical engineering support for the development of “The City of Knowledge,” the first Technology Research Park in Mexico.

Alfonso also facilitated the campus and infrastructure conceptual layout to promote interaction between private and public universities, as well as the different governmental entities within this project. Alfonso has focused intently on enhanced coordination among regional development groups and state offices in different regions of Mexico.  Alfonso possesses a varied set of skill sets in diverse industries including electric infrastructure, steel mills (erection and fabrication), civil works, and high efficiency and environmentally friendly projects. He is both a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer graduate from Universidad del Norte, in Monterrey, Mexico and is fluent in English and Spanish.

 

 

Olegario Gomez, Marketing Manager

Olegario will be coordinating all on-site market reconnaissance and due diligence, including but not limited to, State and Federal Incentives negotiations, maintaining frequent contact with regional dealmakers, influencers and end users, and developing and maintaining the regional “stacking plan”. Olegario is responsible for maintaining open and frequent communication between Freightliner and their supplier companies, coordinating and conducting site visits along with SVC senior management and continuous customer service with committed suppliers to include raw material and components sourcing, human resources, and legal facilitation and relocation coordination.  Olegario was born and raised in Saltillo and has over 10 years experience working in the maquiladora industry in Saltillo with several companies including Johnson Controls. He is a graduate of Manufacturing Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Saltillo.
